Expio turns the receipts in your wallet into clear, organized expense records — with AI doing the typing for you.
Expio is an AI-powered receipt scanner and expense tracker for iPhone, iPad and Android. It is built by Codereltech LLC, a small independent studio that makes focused, privacy-respecting mobile apps.
Why we built it
Paper receipts fade, get lost and pile up — and typing them into a spreadsheet is the part of money management nobody enjoys. Expio was made to remove that step: take a photo, check the details, done.
What Expio does
- Scans receipts with AI — merchant, amount, date, tax and line items are read for you, from a photo, a gallery image or a PDF.
- Imports bank and card statements — upload a PDF, Excel, CSV or image and review every transaction before it is saved.
- Shows where your money goes — categories, merchants, income vs. expenses, monthly and yearly views.
- Keeps you on budget — a monthly budget, alerts at the threshold you choose and optional weekly reminders.
- Works in your currency — 16 currencies, tax settings for 26 countries and every US state, and six app languages.
- Exports and shares — PDF, Excel and CSV reports, plus organizations with roles for teams.
Our principles
- We do not sell personal data and do not use it for advertising.
- Receipts are processed automatically, are not reviewed by humans and are not used to train AI models.
- Expio organizes your records; it is not a bank, an accountant or a source of tax advice.
